MORE THAN A CONQUEROR !!
On August 8th-13, I will be doing something that would seem insane to most people (myself included). It will be one of only 50 athletes participating in an 8 day, 160 running event known as EndurRun. I am running to raise funds on behalf of Khaleel Alfred- Fenton who passed away on June 5th 2009 after a 23 month courageous journey with Cancer.
Over my last 6 months of training 6x per week which totaled 8-12 hours of running, cycling, and weight training, I sought my inspiration from his life and his courageous battle at the end of his life. His life has inspired me and many others to live a life of determination, courage, love and relentless faith.
Khaleel’s life will eternally be inspirational and motivational. Remarkably, a month before he passed away he wrote a detailed business plan which included a facility to help children and their families coping with cancer and other terminal illnesses. This facility included gymnasiums, music rooms, and community kitchens and arts and crafts rooms!
By making a donation on my behalf, you are helping to make Khaleel’s dream a reality and help countless of other children and their families as they cope with the debilitating reality childhood disease.
